About Us

Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family

Why are we here?

We believe that we have been placed here, in our neighborhood, in our community for a specific reason. Not just to do something. To be a part of something. We believe that God is in the business of creating renewal, "making all things new". This is the hope business. This is the forgiveness, love, life-changing, addiction breaking, home-restoring, life-giving, joy-finding business of Jesus Christ in the world.

We are his, and we are simply here to join in his great act of renewal.

What we believe

Ultimately, we believe that renewal stems from one place…one person…Jesus. Jesus was sent to change the world. The way He lived, died, and rose changed everything. At Fellowship, Jesus is at the center of everything we believe and do.

In order to remind us of this truth, we have developed a statement of beliefs and a church covenant that hold our mooring as a community. They bind us together, tethering us to the person of Jesus and all that He is doing in this world. These statements are big on Jesus. Big on Bible. Big on love. What do we do?

At FCC Collingswood we endeavor to serve Jesus by serving our neighbors. We do this practically in a number of ways. We host a twice-monthly food pantry here in our building. We run a community care clinic that we call RISE! We host community events (Block Parties, VBS, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas morning, etc.). We long to be a church in and of the community where we worship.
